Bae Tails is a small scale doggy daycare with the strong belief that familiarity and regular participation creates a stable environment for dogs to feel safe and stimulated. We have a max of 50 dogs per day and cater to dogs up to 60 pounds. Our location has a spacious 1200 sq ft backyard and two play rooms that dogs are split into based on size and temperament.

Join the pack:
New parents must complete our daycare application to be added to our waitlist.  Once space becomes available, your pup will be invited for a complementary daycare trial.  After the trial is passed, you will be able to start booking your pup’s visits.

Requirements:

• Dogs must be fully vaccinated for Bordetella, Distemper (DA2PP), and Rabies. Dogs 9 months and over must also be spayed or neutered.
• Before a dog can stay for daycare, they must pass a complementary 4 hour daycare trial. Trials are scheduled in advance based on daycare availability. We are looking for dogs who thrive in an environment with other dogs for the entire day, and don’t exhibit signs of anxiety or distress. Signs of high stress and arousal that might not be suitable for the day care environment include: constant barking or obsessive humping, any kind of aggression or nipping other dogs or handlers, not positively engaging with other dogs or handlers, health issues that might be contagious to others and others. In that case our day care might not be the best fit for your pup.
• Dogs are required to wear a collar with their ID at all times. Dogs without collars will wear their harnesses in the playrooms. Please be aware that dog’s harnesses might be destroyed during the play. We suggest always sending pups with a collar, as we will not be able to reimburse for the damaged harness.
• We’re happy to serve meals (times determined by daycare schedule) as long as you provide the exact amount in a labeled container. Special requests must be handwritten at or before drop-off. We do not have house food for pups who come without meals.

Rates:
A Half Day is a daycare stay that is under 5 hours.
A Full Day is a stay that is 5 hours or more.

Package Policies

• All packages expire 4 months after their first use.
• Packages must be prepaid before the first visit.
• Packages can be canceled any time before the expiration date, however used days will be charged at A LA Carte pricing

Daycare Pick Ups & Drop Offs
We offer discounted daycare pick-ups and drop-offs for daycare clients:
ZONE 1: Up to 5 street blocks and 1.5 ave blocks: $10 One Way
ZONE 2: Up to 12 street blocks and 2.5 ave blocks: $13 One Way
ZONE 3: Up to 18 street blocks and 5.5 ave blocks: $16 One Way
Discounted Pickups are scheduled between 7:30am and 10:30am non-holiday Monday – Friday
Discounted Drop Offs are scheduled between 4:30 PM and 7:30 PM non-holiday Monday-Friday

*Walks that are scheduled outside of these times are priced at our regular rates (starting at $14) and require a separate Dog Walking Application.

General Policies & Fees

• There is a $8 fee for no-shows and cancellations after 7am the day of.
• If a pick up/drop off is canceled after 10pm the night before, an $8 fee is applied. If it’s canceled 2 hours before the time frame, full price is applied.
• There is a $7 day care surcharge for all federal holidays and holiday weekends.
• Additional pups are 25% off
• All prices are subject to NY Sales Tax (8.875%)
• Late pick ups after 7:05pm are charged $15 each 30 min.
• Pups who are not picked up by 7:15 PM without communication will be taken to our E 80th location
• We use DoTimely.com for all scheduling and invoicing. Please process schedule changes though the Do Timely website or mobile app.
• We use GroupMe for updates and vaccination reminders. We are not able to accommodate schedule adjustments or cancellations through GroupMe.
